As a Drama / Speech Major in college, I learned the importance of Body awareness. Required studies included mime, yoga and breath work, meditation, sense memory, and guided imagery -- all in service of creating the inner life of a character. In the ensuing years, as I shifted my attention from being in front of to behind the camera, I continued to practice my respect for the Body by maintaining personal wellness during my television career.
When I left broadcasting, I was drawn to the Healing Arts. I became certified as a Personal Trainer, created Body Alchemy (SM), and began accepting private clients. From the beginning, I've worked with people who found themselves in the throes of a life transition. To meet their needs, I sought out several disciplines of Energywork - all of which support the Bodymind's ability to manifest change.
